On this 10-year anniversary of Hurricane Katrina, I am remembering Paul, pictured here in front of his house that was decimated by the flood. I volunteered at a soup kitchen shortly after and helped some of the victims clean their houses. When leaving Paul's house it looked pretty much the same as when we started and the amount of work left to be done would be completely overbearing for most people. I definitely learned a lesson about resilience from Paul and hope that things turned out well for him since.
