Atlas Global Bistro

I shot an event at Atlas Global Bistro in Detroit tonight. There was a "singles" gathering there called First Thursdays. The food was really good and it had a nice atmosphere.  Downtown Detroit, just a few blocks north of Comerica Park so you can park for free.  The bar really was nice and it had a warmer more welcoming environment than many bar/restaurants in Detroit.

Barack Obama DETROIT

 No shoot today, so here is one from the vault. Barack Obama at a rally in Detroit over the summer.  He is talking about change we need. It was hot, an old lady passed out and was carried away.  Obama stopped his speech and handed some water bottles to the crowd to pass to the women.  It was so crowded that it took a while for the emergency crew to get through.  I, myself, felt sick from the heat and had to sit for a minute.

  I arrived three hours before the event and the line went a quarter of a mile down woodward.
